"I am motivated by helping people to achieve the goals that they are trying to achieve, whether assisting to find an apartment, or homeownership." - Araceli, Director

At Way Finders, we are passionately invested in lifting up the region’s people, places, and systems.

Our nonprofit organization—which provides housing support services and much more—positively impacts the lives of tens of thousands of people each year. Our focal points are as broad as our reach: We work to eliminate homelessness; develop and manage a robust range of safe, affordable housing options; promote education and advocacy via a housing lens; activate resident leaders; fund local entrepreneurs; and counsel people on homeownership, personal finances, and career growth. Add these all up? Every day, Way Finders is helping to realize a more equitable, thriving region—where housing stability and economic mobility are valued, resourced, and within reach for all.

Way Finders is recognized as a Top Workplace for Nonprofits

Way Finders is thrilled to announce that we were honored with the prestigious 2024 Top Workplaces for Nonprofits award.

The award, given through Energage, an industry leader in employee engagement and workplace culture, is considered the US’s most prestigious employer recognition program.

Way Finders President & CEO Keith Fairey said the award is a testament to the staff’s collective efforts in cultivating an exceptional workplace culture and demonstrates Way Finders’ commitment to employee engagement and continuous improvement.

Receiving the 2024 Top Workplaces, said Erica Simonette, Chief People & Administrative Officer, “signifies our tremendous impact as a team. Together, we will continue making Way Finders an even greater workplace.”

Top Workplaces are determined by quantitative feedback and the statements and demographic information collected within individual workplace surveys. To date, Energage has collected data from more than 23 million surveys at over 70,000 organizations. On average, less than 3% of eligible workplaces earn a Top Workplaces designation.
