Way Finders Leads Critical Housing Studies for Policy Change

In 2020, Way Finders initiated a series of housing studies to document the housing dynamics in the region for both state and local policymakers, housing advocates, community stakeholders, and the general public. We believe that understanding the context of the housing crisis in our communities will allow us to work together to create effective funding recommendations and policy changes for the benefit of all who struggle to find stable, affordable housing in our communities. The studies are conducted by the UMass Amherst Donahue Institute.

Greater Springfield Regional Housing Analysis Report: Phase I – March, 2021

This first report examines issues of housing production, affordability, and accessibility across the Pioneer Valley, both prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
