Every year, individuals, businesses, and community groups support Way Finders through drives, fundraisers, and community events that help families across our region build stability and opportunity.  

Whether you want to organize a drive, host a fundraiser, or partner on a community event, there are many ways to get involved and strengthen our community together. 

Host a drive or community campaign

Organize a collection drive or community campaign to support individuals and families in our programs. Drives can focus on essential items like school supplies, household goods, hygiene products, seasonal necessities, or holiday gifts. 

Annual “Stuff the Bus” toy drive

Each year, our Toy Drive helps bring joy to children and families living in our shelters during the holiday season. With the support of generous donors and community partners, we collect new, unwrapped toys and gifts for families who may otherwise go without.

Plan a fundraiser

Support Way Finders by raising funds to help strengthen housing stability and community programs across our region. 

Online fundraisers & donation campaigns 

Celebrating a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or other milestone? Create an online fundraiser or donation campaign in honor of the occasion. 

You can set up a fundraiser through GoFundMe Charity by searching for Way Finders (EIN: 04-2518368).

Third-party fundraising events 

Businesses, community groups, schools, and individuals can also host independent fundraising events benefiting Way Finders. 

Popular ideas include: 

  • Bingo nights
  • Tournaments or athletic events 
  • Workplace giving campaigns 
  • Performances or community gatherings  
  • Restaurant or retail give-back events
