There are three accessible units for people with disabilities. Tenants are invited to use the shared community room for meetings and other gatherings. The Way Finders’ management office is located onsite in the community building, and offers 24-hour emergency maintenance.

Community Gardens at Butternut

Every Spring/Summer we open up our community gardens to residents so that they have the opportunity to grow their own fruits, vegetable and flowers. Often times with new residents, this opportunity to garden has been their first experience for their household. We see our garden as a learning platform to teach kids in our community where food comes from. 

Our gardens also have a community sharing basket. Sometimes you grow more than you can consume. Rather than having food go bad, we have residents who are willing to share their crops with neighbors.
