Way Finders’ CEO, board member receive 2022 Black Excellence on the Hill awards

At the 2022 Black Excellence on the Hill awards, held virtually February 28, 2022, Way Finders’ President and CEO Keith Fairey and Board member Lenny Underwood were honored for their leadership and efforts to help their communities thrive. Organized by the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus, the annual event recognizes Black community leaders and trailblazers across the state.
Fairey was nominated by state Senator Jo Comerford (D-Northampton) for his strategic, collaborative efforts to take on the region’s affordable housing gap. Underwood, owner of Underwood Photography and Upscale Socks, was nominated by state Sen. Eric Lesser (D-Longmeadow) for his dedication to encouraging entrepreneurship, especially among young people.
