Annual Toy and Fund Drive

Children and families deserve joyful holidays – but that can be challenging when living in shelter. Money is tight. You don’t have your own place. For parents, the holidays can add more stress to an already difficult situation. 

You can help local kids – and their parents – this holiday season. We’ve teamed up with FIRST Student, Springfield’s school bus transportation company for a Stuff the Bus Toy & Fundraising drive.

From now through Saturday, December 6, you can collect toys, raise funds, or both, to support families staying in Way Finders family shelters. You’ll bring your donations to Walmart in Springfield where we will Stuff the Bus with them!

Every child and family deserves a joyful holiday. All are welcome to Stuff the Bus with us! Families, businesses, schools, churches, groups of any size.  Let’s come together and make a difference in a local family’s holiday season this year. 

HOW TO JOIN THE FUN: 

Step 1: Register — so we can celebrate your generosity on social media! 

Step 2: Rally your crew to collect new, unwrapped toys 

Step 3: Help us raise funds for items such as gift cards for teens or other urgent winter needs 

Step 4: Bring your toy haul to Walmart, 1105 Boston Road, Springfield on Saturday, December 6 between 9 AM to 3 PM and help us STUFF THE BUS full of holiday cheer! 

Registration is suggested but not required— walk-ins are always welcome!
