Moving forward with Library Commons Phase 2

Way Finders is pleased to receive funding in support of Library Commons 2! The 41-unit scattered site project near downtown Holyoke—on four neighboring sites to the recently completed Library Commons 1—was among the 15 projects across the state to receive affordable housing awards from the Baker-Polito Administration. Collectively, the awards will result in the creation or preservation of 697 units of rental housing.

Library Commons 2 will consist of three new townhome-style buildings and one renovated historic building at 117 Essex Street. The units will be restricted for families earning less than 60 percent of the area median income (AMI); 18 units will be further restricted for extremely low-income families earning less than 30 percent of AMI.
