First Annual Way Finders Toy Drive

For decades, Way Finders has provided shelter and supportive housing to hundreds of families and children. This year, we wanted to do more for these families that we support by providing a little extra holiday cheer. Over a period of 2 weeks Way Finders staff members rallied together to donate toys and encourage their network of colleagues outside of the organization to join in as well. 

Charles Winston and his Road to Homeownership

Charles came to Way Finders in 1997. At that time, he was unemployed and needed our assistance to secure a Section 8 housing voucher. Years later, Charles, now a single father, learned about his opportunity to participate in the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program – and that was the beginning of his journey to where he is today.

Way Finders (formerly HAPHousing) is proud to offer our First-Time Homebuyer Workshop as an online course. This online homebuyer education course uses a total of 6 modules consisting of 319 slides, There is a quiz at the end of each module. You must receive a passing score on each quiz and the final assessment in order to complete the course, and you will have three attempts to earn a satisfactory score on the quizzes and final.
