Depending on your goals and readiness, we may recommend a First Time Home Buyer Workshop, offered online and at various locations throughout the region. The course covers finding, financing, purchasing and maintaining a home. Participants receive a certificate of completion that is necessary to access several down payment assistance programs and special mortgage products.

Way Finders' Homeownership and Financial Education Department offers Financial Assistance programs to help you purchase or modify your home. 

Employment Support Services

Way Finders’ Employment Support Services help people envision—and make—the connection between stable housing and stable employment, all in pursuit of helping people achieve greater economic mobility. We support households who are receiving various services from the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) and the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA).  

Belchertown Down Payment Assistance

Way Finders administers the Belchertown Down Payment Assistance program which provides down payment and/or closing assistance of $5,000 to income-eligible borrowers purchasing a home in the town of Belchertown, MA. Homebuyers must also complete homeownership education.
